This post is WAY overdue, seeing as we went to the beach at the end of July! We have had a lot going on, to say the least (more on that later!) but I have not completely given up on the blog.
We spent a glorious week of vacation on the South Carolina coast with Nick's side of the family. It has become an annual tradition that we look forward to every year. We didn't have much of an agenda which I loved. Most days were spent on the beach reading and swimming with an afternoon nap. Our nights consisted of a delicious dinner and an evening spent watching the Olympics.
The forecast one day was for lots of rain so Nick and I decided to join his parents on a day trip to Charleston. It is such a beautiful city and we had the best time exploring. Wouldn't you love to live here?
We had a wonderful lunch at Husk- highly recommend it!
We are already looking forward to next year!
